Marky Fresh, born Marco Cantali Conti in Cleveland, Ohio, is a first-generation Italian-American of 100% Sicilian descent. A barber for 15+ years, Marco earned the nickname “Marky Fresh” while working alongside his father at Fresh Hair.
A 2012 graduate of Allstate Hairstyling & Barber College in downtown Cleveland, Marky has owned successful barbershops, earned Best Barbershop honors from the Cleveland Hotlist in 2020, created viral content, and made nationwide news. He also launched Ohio’s first mobile barbershop.
A former Firefighter/EMT, Marky has always had a passion for helping people especially children with special needs. He specializes in traditional and modern barbering, straight-razor shaves, and is a certified SMP (scalp micropigmentation) artist.
Today, Marky is excited to begin his next chapter: building a brand-new Marky Fresh Barbershop in Downtown Willoughby, just off 2nd Street.
Outside the shop, Marky enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, rucking, working out, golf, pickleball, traveling, movies, cooking, fly fishing, shooting sports, and a good audiobook or podcast.
